Summer in Skagen has been at its very best, with long bright days, plenty of sunshine and the special atmosphere that defines the town during summer. Skagen Festival and week 29 were every bit as lively and festive as we had hoped, and it has been wonderful to see that summer feeling continue through the following weeks. At Toftegården, our lovely courtyard has been full of life and relaxed moments. New and returning guests alike have helped create the special atmosphere that makes summer here so memorable.

New at ToftegårdenWe are always working to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. We have therefore invested in a modern booking system where you can book a room or apartment directly on our website and pay securely by card. We have also renovated and refreshed several of our rooms and apartments, including the addition of new wood panelling. Our courtyard has new flowers, and we have taken new photos so you can see the latest improvements on our website. See the new photos at www.skagen.nu |
Your own E-ButlerWhen you book a stay, you receive access to your personal E-Butler. It brings practical information together in one place, including self check-in guidance and the option to order breakfast, rent bicycles, book wellness and much more. We have also introduced a new telephone system, making it easier to find the right information or reach us. Both services have been warmly received by our guests. |

Skagen beyond the high seasonFor the first time, we are trialling opening during parts of autumn and spring. It is an opportunity to enjoy Skagen at a gentler pace, with fresh sea air, beautiful walks and the distinctive light for which the town is famous. The new Maskinrummet experience centre has opened at Skagen Harbour. Historic engines, cars, motorcycles and maritime objects sit alongside an extensive fashion and luggage collection featuring names such as Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Dior, Prada and Gucci. Children can explore history, get close to the impressive machines and enjoy the dedicated children’s area. In other words, it is an experience for the whole family – including those more interested in design and fashion than engines. Skagen’s museums, exhibitions, food and nature also make the town worth visiting throughout the year.
